President Trump will be making another trip to Mississippi, this time on the eve of the runoff for the special U.S. Senate election to determine who will fill the balance of Thad Cochran's six-year term. He retired back in April, with Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith appointed by Governor Bryant to fill the post on an interim basis. Trump will travel back to the state on November 26th to hold campaign rallies in Biloxi and Tupelo for Hyde-Smith, who faces former Democratic congressman Mike Espy in the runoff election the following day.
