A former Long Beach cop sentenced in the death of her daughter.

A former Long Beach cop is headed to prison in connection with the hot-car death of her three-year-old daughter. A Judge in Bay St. Louis yesterday sentenced 29-year-old Cassie Barker to 20 years behind bars, the maximum sentence for manslaughter, a charge she pleaded guilty to last month. The child, Cheyenne Hyer, died in the back of Barker's patrol car in 2016 where she was left alone while her mom had sex with her supervisor at his home and then fell asleep.

Police in Gulfport are looking for a missing 37 year old. Bryan Daughtry took his dog for a walk early Saturday morning, but never returned. His dog came back around 2 Sunday morning without its' leash. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A new tax for streaming video services like Netflix may become law in Illinois. A bill currently in the state house would establish the Video Service Tax Modernization Act and Entertainment Tax Fairness Act, which would charge a one percent tax for watching.

For years, ordering a Veggie Whopper at Burger King would get you a bun and vegetables, but the fast food chain is about to make a big change. It will test market the Impossible Whopper at 59 St. Louis locations. The Impossible Burger is the product of a Silicon Valley company and is made from a genetically-engineered plant protein that mimics the taste and texture of beef. The burgers are already being sold at over five-thousand restaurants, including White Castle and Red Robin.
