We're keeping an eye on this one...just in case.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami is keeping its eye on a tropical wave that could make its way into the Gulf of Mexico next week. Right now, it's on a west-northwest course from the north-central Caribbean Sea and could reach the eastern Gulf waters by early next week. There's a ten-percent chance the wave could reach cyclone status over the next five days. Even if it doesn't, it could bring significant rainfall to Mississippi and other Gulf Coast states.
