Israel is set to start withholding money from the Palestinian Authority because of Palestinian payments to families of people jailed for attacking Israelis. Pressure to implement the measure grew after a Palestinian was arrested over the weekend for the murder of a 19-year-old Israeli woman. Israel sends millions of dollars in tax revenue to the Palestinian Authority collected at Israeli ports on goods bound for Palestinian markets. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that funds would be withheld at the start of next week. A Palestinian official said his government will refuse any money from Israel if a single penny is deducted.
