Nicki Minaj Clears The Air Regarding Blac Chyna 'Megatron' Video Rumors

Nicki Minaj is preparing to hit the scene once again with a brand-new single called "Megatron" and the accompanying music video is making headlines before it has even seen the light of day.

Just last week, the hip-hop titan took to social media to announce the single and unveil some behind-the-scenes photos of the steamy clip, which features her getting hot and heavy with a male extra. Fast forward to Monday (June 18), Blac Chyna shared some shots on Instagram of her on what looked like a set similar to Minaj's video. One of the three posts includes the title of the rapper's new single, leading folks to believe that The Real Blac Chyna star is appearing in the "Megatron" clip. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem the case, as per word straight from Minaj's mouth.

"Chyna isn't in the MEGATRON video," the 36-year-old chart-topper wrote on Instagram Stories. "She was just showing love, which I greatly appreciate. Congrats on the new show mama!" Despite the shutdown, Minaj did reveal that Chyna might be a guest on her Friday episode of Queen Radio.

As we previously reported, Minaj has rapped about Megatron, a nickname she used to refer to herself, on Future's 2018 track "Transformer." "Some call me Nicki but some call me Megatron/ I'm stoppin' bags and I don't need a red octagon," she spit. Expect to hear "Megatron" (and potentially see the music video) on Friday.
