Cruisin' the Coast provides a much needed economic boost.

A much needed boost for the MS Coast, where the opening of the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway and a toxic algae bloom had the waters along the beaches closed for most of the summer tourism season.Thanks to Cruisin’ the Coast, hotels and businesses got a much needed shot in the arm.The event brings an economic impact of over $26-million to the 3 coastal counties, and close to $29-million to the state.They expect an increase in those numbers when another study is done next year.
