The rocket core stage of the Artemis Space Launch System that'll send astronauts back to the moon and beyond has gotten a Mardi Gras-style sendoff in New Orleans as it heads to Mississippi for testing. It was rolled out of a NASA assembly facility and loaded onto a specially modified barge to carry it to the Stennis Space Center. It's the same 40 mile route that NASA used years ago during the testing of Saturn-5 rockets for the Apollo program.
