Former MLB Player Rips LeBron James For Tweet About Astros Cheating Scandal

Chris Broussard: “We hear you’ve got beef with the king, what’s going on?!”
Paul Lo Duca: “Here’s my issue. I took the tweet down because I just don’t have the time, and I’m too old to deal with all these people who don’t understand what’s going on. I love LeBron and think he’s great for the game, but my issue is if you can’t comment on China, then you shouldn’t be commenting on the MLB. There’s not an MLB player commenting on whatever he says, he’s just got to be in the middle of the conversation. The thing is that HE DOESN’T UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION. The ball is not in the [sic] commissioner's court and it’s nowhere near the [sic] commissioner's court. LeBron doesn’t get that. It’s a different union and a different game. He writes out a tweet because he wants to be involved in EVERYTHING.” (Full Interview Above)

Listen to former Major League All-Star catcher Paul Lo Duca join The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker to discuss LeBron James’ recent tweets calling out MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, as the NBA’s most iconic active player unexpectedly threw his hat into the biggest scandal in MLB history.

Manfred is taking a lot of heat this week, not only in the media, but from some of the best players in the sport including Mike Trout, Cody Bellinger, and Aaron Judge, who were extremely critical of the league refusing to outright punish the Astros players involved in the egregious cheating scandal that netted them the 2017 World Series.

Despite LeBron dumping another can of gasoline to already blistering bonfire of nightmare PR for the MLB commish, Lo Duca punched back at LeBron, tweeting at LeBron’s handle that 'he had no idea what he was talking about'. Lo Duca has since deleted the tweet and said he ‘didn’t have time’ to deal with the ratio it was getting on Twitter from fired up LeBron stans. Lo Duca's account still has several tweets up responding back to fans about the controversial tweet to LeBron.

Check out the interview below as Lo Duca explains why the average fan like LeBron, simply don’t understand the situation in its entirety, and don’t understand the legitimate options the commissioner has at his disposal.

Lo Duca was a 4-time All-Star with stints on the Dodgers, Marlins, Mets, and Nationals. He finished his career with a .286 batting average, and 1,112 hits in 11 seasons.
