Bring a lawn chair/blanket and enjoy Blues at the Beach at Beach Park in Pascagoula from 6-8 Friday night. Fat Man Squeeze is playing.
There’s an Easter Egg Hunt at Beach Park in Pascagoula Friday night from 6:30 to 10pm, with more than 20-thousand eggs for children to hunt by age groups. The Easter Bunny will be there, and there’s a free Movie Under the Stars starting at 8:15pm. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket.
Saturday, April 15th:
There’s an Easter Egg Hunt at War Memorial Park in Pass Christian Saturday, with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, starting at 10am.
Your children can make mermaid wind chimes at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi Saturday, children under 4 need to have a parent/guardian present, and pre-registration is required at 374-5547 or georgeohr.org 10:30-11:30am.
The Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival is this Saturday at the USM Campus in Long Beach. Music from the Coast Big Band, Army Jazz Band and more, as well as children’s activities, carnival games, face painting, an obstacle course and bounce house. The event runs from 10-6pm, and includes an Easter Egg Hunt at 11am.
There’s an Easter egg hunt at Willie Lock Park on 20th Street in Gulfport Saturday, part of a Family Day Out that will include games and more between noon and 5pm.
There’s a free movie at the Ocean Springs Library Saturday at 2pm that tells the story of fuzzy, sparkling trolls. Bring your own snacks and folding chair or blanket.
If you have a young, budding chef at home, Saturday is their day at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center on Government Street in Ocean Springs. Kids 8 and younger will learn kitchen secrets from 9-1pm.
The Great American Cleanup is the week of April 16-22. If you or your group would like to help out at a certain spot, just call 435-6339 to register. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
