Lots to do and see along our coast this weekend.


There are a record number of boats entered in this year MS Gulf Coast Billfish Classic, 120 in all, and most cost more than $5-million dollars!  The anglers are competing for prize money in excess of $2-million.  Winners will be announced Sunday.


The Summer Fair is at the Coliseum through next weekend, with rides, live music, shows and more.  5-11 tonight, 1-11 tomorrow, and 1-9 Sunday…

It’s Cemetery Tales at Beauvoir tonight, actors will portray different characters in the Confederate Cemetery from 7-9. 

It’s another Movie Under the Stars at Beach Park in Pascagoula.  This time, they’re showing Top Gun.  Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket.  8:15pm


Tickets are still available for Saturday morning's Saints Kids Experience in MGM Park. The event is open to children 6-17 and will feature instruction and physical challenges directed by staff of the New Orleans Saints, who will be assisted by some current Saints players and Saints Hall of Famers.  The event is from 8:30-11 a.m., with gates opening at 8 a.m. Participant tickets are $10 per child, or two for $15, and are available at the MGM Park Box Office. Spectator tickets are $5.   The Saints Kids Experience is part of Saints Weekend in Biloxi, which concludes Saturday afternoon from 4-6:30 p.m. with the Saints Hall of Fame Experience on the Great Lawn south of Harrah's. Tickets for that event are also available at MGM Park Box Office and the Harrah's Gift Shop.

There’s another Second Saturday Artwalk in Old Town Bay St. Louis, and it’s free.  Gallery openings, live music and more between 4 and 8pm. 

PTSD Awareness Walk/5K is a fundraiser for PTSD victims.  Register online at www.crusadersforveterans.com  Starts at 8 Saturday morning on the Ken Combs Pier off Courthouse Road in Gulfport.
