Forgetting makes you smarter?!

Not being able to remember something usually leaves you feeling less than intelligent.  But a new study suggests our brains are actively trying to forget things, so they can hold onto what's truly important.  

In other words, a brain that does a better job forgetting is actually a smarter, more efficient brain.
