DEMS DIG IN: Sen. Klobuchar Says America ‘Needs Universal Healthcare’
Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar doubled-down on her party’s recent shift towards implementing a ‘Medicare for All’ system in the United States; saying the country “needs universal healthcare.”
The left-wing lawmaker was speaking with Face the Nation this weekend when host Margret Brennan asked Klobuchar if she agrees with her fellow Democrats’ calls for a new, massive federal healthcare program.
“Former Attorney General Eric Holder says it’s time now to move to some version of Medicare for all and end this nonsense,” Brennan said.
